With over thirty years of experience in interior architecture and design, Lester heads up Folio Design with a creative energy and a passion for his chosen profession. Lester's portfolio is diverse and wide-ranging including luxury residential interiors, commercial, retail, exhibition, industrial, and product, design, and boasts an impressive client list including several bluechip companies.
Prior to establishing Folio Design, Lester was Design Director at Westcity Wates where his iconic, cutting-edge developments earned prestigious awards for schemes including West End Quay, The Phillimores (now Academy Gardens), Pavilion Apartments, and Phillimore Square (now Thornwood Gardens). The latter two developments were carried out in conjunction with KSR Architects which is a sister-company to Folio Design.
In addition to his work in the contemporary field, Lester has studied and lectured on the history of the English House and is well versed in period interiors, which lends refinement to his work on historic and listed buildings.
In his working relationships, Lester values relaxed, professional interaction. He adopts a holistic approach that integrates architecture and interior design, and is actively involved in a project from the initial design stages through to its completion. Lester's attention to detail, creativity and extensive experience ensures the delivery of sophisticated and elegant design pieces and interiors.
